About three years ago Prill Neagles's '32 roadster was badly damaged i
n an accident while being driven by a family member. The chassis was tweaked and the fiberglass body (a three window coupe that had it's top removed) suffered a major amount of damage. Rather than just patch things up, Prill decided that it was time to make the car truly hers, and with Kip's help and support she began a major rebuilding effort that included a new Rod Factory frame, updated suspension, a total rework and repair of the body, paint and a totally unbelievable interior. The attention paid to the small details in this car is outstanding. As always, Kip's upholstery work is unmatched for quality and attention to detail.
The photo on the right gives you an idea of the workmanship in this interior. Yes, you are right, that is an ice chest covered in hand tooled leather to match the rest of the car's interior Arizona Theme.
I had an opportunity to photograph Prill and Kip putting the top on the car at the Pavilions before they left for home. I thought y'all might like to see how it is stored and how it all fits together.
If you have a chance, please check out the car for yourself, my photos do not do it justice!
