OTHG Rides
Well another Goodguys Southwest Nationals is now in the books! The 12th of the series in many ways was the best one yet. Our best guess on entries this year would be somewhat over 2800 and even with the expanded parking this year the polo field was full on both Friday and Saturday!
We had a great selection of cars this year and a number of new ones which with the current economy was somewhat of a feat! This year even the OTHG Parking area was pretty much maxed out with guests from San Diego, Tucson, Lake Havasu, Scottsdale and of course our Phoenix club.
This years Thursday's shop tours were without a doubt the best yet! The tour covered 85 miles in the greater Phoenix area and stopped at the following shops; Bill Boat's Performance Exhaust, Industrial Chassis, American Built Customs (Lunch Stop), Arizona Street Rods & B&R Injection Systems (same stop), the Doehrman Company ending up at Drew's Garage in Tempe for the Kick Off Party.
This year's swap meet also exceeded all expectations with every spot filled by Bob Kerkle and crew.
Be sure to put March 12-14, 2010 on your calendar for the Goodguys Spring Nationals which will be held at Westworld in Scottsdale - it should be another good one!
