2009 OTHG-Holiday Casino Night Party

This years Christmas party was held on December 5th and hosted
by Steve and Connie Roseman at their beautiful home in Gilbert, AZ. Connie did a super job with the food preparation; the prime rib was excellent and Steve's cheese cake was rated highly by all!
After dinner the Casino night began in earnest with several games of chance on offer! Everyone was given a $500 stake (don't get excited - it was play money) when they arrived to use to buy chips for the games. At the end of the evening, you could use what you won to buy tickets for the prize drawing for 5 great prizes. It seems to me that Betty Bailey, Cindy Bryant, Jackie Councilman, Sue Elston and Barb Scott walked off with the drawing prizes.
Unfortunately I did not get a list of all the members that were on the Party Committee that was chaired by Brenda Besore - I am hoping that one of the committee will help me out with this!
You would have thought that the party was being held in Alaska by the way everyone was dressed with their heavy coats and all! In my opinion it was a lovely warm evening - keep in mind that as I am writing this, it is 28F outside my office and it has been snowing for around 6 hours with a whole lot more to come tonight! 12-24" are being forecast. So for all you flat landers - suck it UP! :-)
Everyone attending the party had a great time and we would all like to thank Steve and Connie for their hospitality and helping us get Holiday Season 2009 off to a great start!
